Coach Todd M

After 20 years in the saddle and riding in half a dozen countries, of one thing I am sure…there is nothing like riding to focus the mind and feed the soul. I believe we don’t have enough adventure in our lives so I love sharing my two-wheeled obsession with new and experienced riders alike.

Coach Carson

I really enjoy all types of riding and strive to be a better rider each day. Long road trips in Moab are on the top of my list ????

Coach Lee

I bought my first motorcycle when I was 12 years old and my brothers taught me how to ride by turning me loose in the middle of an open field. As my bikes got bigger and faster, I realized that I didn’t know as much about riding as I thought, and I got involved in rider education courses.

Coach Strange

I love my bike and cannot wait for the day i can go on a ride with the kids ????

Coach George

I took my fIrst MSF BRC in North Carolina in 1988 while in the Marine Corps. As a Rider ever since, I gotten to ride across our great country and have been an addict of the great canyon roads in Southern California. Moving to Southern Utah in 2017

Coach Fran

The adventure begins where the pavement ends. Stay dirty my friends.

Coach Andy

Long road trips on my bike are my therapy!

Coach Carrie

New text: I’ve loved motorcycles for as long as I can remember. I teach because I want to share my passion & pass on safety skills. It’s important to me to help promote positive vibes towards the motorcycle community.

Coach Eric

New Text: I’ve ridden all over Utah and the Western US with my wife, and occasionally our children too. I got involved with URE to give something back to a community that’s been so good to me and brought me so much joy.

Coach Steven

I love sharing the joy of riding!

Coach Dave

Riding has brought me joy beyond expression. It is an honor to share the motorcycling experience with all who want to ride.

Coach Duncan

I love riding my bike through canyons and enjoying those perfect fall and spring days.

Coach AJ

I started coaching a few years ago and truly dig it! Riding is an awesome and joyous skill that i love sharing 🙂

Coach Dan

I learned to ride as a Police Motor Officer, and after years as an accident investigator I wanted to teach others to stay safe on the road! Riding is my therapy and I really love long distance riding.

Coach Wolf

I got my first motorcycle at 16 and never looked back. The wife and I rode all over the country and have seen a lot of great places touring on the motorcycle. Having the opportunity to help new riders, it’s been exciting to watch them develop good riding skills.

Coach Vidur

Moving from a bicycle to riding was the most amazing change. I love teaching because I get to participate in the community and see all the changes and learning processes students go through. I enjoy riding in Big Cottonwood Canyon and participating in many automotive related activities.

Coach Twila

I grew up in a family of motorcycle enthusiasts. After 29 years of riding my friend suggested I start teaching. Now, for 15 years, I’ve had the opportunity to help others learn to be safer and love the ride! Personally, I love riding in the Uinta Mountains and also enjoy going off-road.

Coach Sarah

I was fortunate to grow up knowing the love of bikes. Being raised in a Rider Coach household meant motorcycle safety was life. I started riding on road when I was 15 and taught my first Basic Rider Course at 20. My favorite places to ride are Trappers Loop, East Canyon and Monte.

Coach Scot

My dad started me riding at 4 years old, since then motorcycles have become my therapy, I become one with the universe. After 8 years of teaching I still love helping new riders and sharing my passion. When I’m not teaching or managing a bunch of engineers you can find me on my bike.

Coach Paris

like riding because its what brings me joy, and gets me out of my boring desk job. There is a special feeling you get on a motorcycle that you cannot replicate elsewhere. I truly enjoy teaching because it lets me share my passion with others.

Coach Mike

My Mom put me on the back of her motorcycle when I was four years old and thus started a life long passion. I ride for the feeling of freedom and being part of the environment. I enjoy teaching for those moments when things “click” and a student has gained a passion for riding.

Coach Matt

Basic Motorcycle Safety Measures

Since I was 18 I have loved the thrill of riding. As a tech at Layton Cycle I know motorcycles in-and-out. After 13 years of riding I wanted to “give back” and help others. Being able to guide riders to correct bad habits and discover new skills is the best!

Coach John

Coach Jason

I stole my dad’s bike at 16 years old and have been hooked ever since! I love the feeling of riding; the speed, freedom, scenery, new places and the adventure. I love being a Rider Coach and helping students learn and grow. Daily I am a recruiter but would rather be riding in Northern Cali!

Coach Jamey

For me riding is a break from life and WAY cooler than driving my car! I like teaching because I get to share my sport and help keep riders safe. My everyday job is with a mobility team in Ortho Trauma, so I know the value of having skill while riding.

Coach Gary

Been a rider since 1973 and teaching since 1991. As a Rider Coach for the Airforce and Utah Rider Ed I teach all levels and types of riders. No matter what the best part of class is having fun! My personal riding is done in the canyons; more curves please!

Coach Dawn

As a business owner and mom, I have always found riding to be my therapy, my alone time. Every time I get a wide-open country road I get the sense of freedom. I like teaching and being able to share that feeling and helping others build confidence and skill.

Coach Dale

Teaching has been a life-long calling for me. In the 90s I wrote and helped pass the Utah Rider Training Legislation, and then went on to start Utah Rider Ed and helped begin many of the other programs in Utah. It has been my altruistic goal to help people enjoy riding without crashing.

Coach Clair

I love helping others learn to ride correctly and safely. My late start to riding did not hold me back! After taking the BRC at 40 years old, I have enjoyed riding places like Monte Cristo and Hwy 191. Riding to me is the best and most exhilarating way to see the world!

Coach Brad

I love riding motorcycles and I want to help others discover a safe and satisfying motorcycle adventure.

Coach Nick

I married into a motorcycle family about 11 years ago. Since then I have gone through many training courses and motorcycles. The knowledge I received from those courses made me want to become a rider coach, to help students become confident and happy. I like commuting and riding canyon roads.
