Become a CoachLong road trips on my bike are my therapy!
I’ve loved motorcycles for as long as I can remember. I teach because I want to share my passion & pass on safety skills. It’s important to me to help promote positive vibes towards the motorcycle community.
I’ve ridden all over Utah and the Western US with my wife, and occasionally our children too. I got involved with URE to give something back to a community that’s been so good to me and brought me so much joy.
I love sharing the joy of riding!
Riding has brought me joy beyond expression. It is an honor to share the motorcycling experience with all who want to ride.
I love riding my bike through canyons and enjoying those perfect fall and spring days.
I truly love coaching! Riding is an awesome and joyous skill that I love sharing :)
I learned to ride as a Police Motor Officer, and after years as an accident investigator I wanted to teach others to stay safe on the road! Riding is my therapy and I really love long distance riding.
I got my first motorcycle at 16 and never looked back. The wife and I rode all over the country and have seen a lot of great places touring on the motorcycle. Having the opportunity to help new riders, it’s been exciting to watch them develop good riding skills.
Moving from a bicycle to riding was the most amazing change. I love teaching because I get to participate in the community and see all the changes and learning processes students go through. I enjoy riding in Big Cottonwood Canyon and participating in many automotive related activities.
I grew up in a family of motorcycle enthusiasts. After 29 years of riding my friend suggested I start teaching. Now, for 15 years, I’ve had the opportunity to help others learn to be safer and love the ride! Personally, I love riding in the Uinta Mountains and also enjoy going off-road.
I was fortunate to grow up knowing the love of bikes. Being raised in a Rider Coach household meant motorcycle safety was life. My favorite places to ride are Trappers Loop, East Canyon and Monte. Also proud Driver of Shake N Bake Jeep ! www.shakenbakeoffroad.com
I like riding because it’s what brings me joy, and gets me out of my boring desk job. There is a special feeling you get on a motorcycle that you cannot replicate elsewhere. I truly enjoy teaching because it lets me share my passion with others.
I love riding motorcycles & enjoy helping others learn the skills needed to ride & ride safely.
I've been riding since I bought my first motorcycle in 2008. Utah provides some amazing scenery to ride through. As I learn and grow as a RiderCoach my love for motorcycles increases. Utilizing the safety skills makes riding more enjoyable and a great form of therapy. I teach to share this joy with others.
I’ve been riding nearly 30 years, and they’ve let me hang out with cool people as a Coach for 15 years now. I love all kinds of motorcycles and riding, but heaven for me is a week on Northern California twisties! My weeks are filled with helping friends navigate the always challenging Real Estate landscape. Now you too have a friend in Real Estate! For me riding is a break from life and WAY cooler than driving my car! I like teaching because I get to share my sport and help keep riders safe. My everyday job is with a mobility team in Ortho Trauma, so I know the value of having skill while riding.
Been a rider since 1973 and teaching since 1991. As a Rider Coach for the Airforce and Utah Rider Ed I teach all levels and types of riders. No matter what the best part of class is having fun! My personal riding is done in the canyons; more curves please!
Teaching has been a life-long calling for me. In the 90s I wrote and helped pass the Utah Rider Training Legislation, and then went on to start Utah Rider Ed and helped begin many of the other programs in Utah. It has been my altruistic goal to help people enjoy riding without crashing.
I love helping others learn to ride correctly and safely. My late start to riding did not hold me back! After taking the BRC at 40 years old, I have enjoyed riding places like Monte Cristo and Hwy 191. Riding to me is the best and most exhilarating way to see the world!
I love riding motorcycles and I want to help others discover a safe and satisfying motorcycle adventure.
It all started roughly 15 years ago when I took the BRC with Utah Rider Ed. My passion for motorcycling grows stronger every time I ride, whether it's on a racetrack, sport touring, dirt riding, or sharpening my skills in a parking lot, the progression never ends!
I've been teaching over a decade, and I never get tired of seeing the smiles when a student has a breakthrough. I want to ride every bike once, just to see what it's like.
Music + Art + Literature + Adventure: What else is there? Sharing them with the people you love.
I found riding recently and a bit later in life (after 50 ish), but it has certainly changed how I look at the world - mostly because it is from 2 wheels rocking on down the highway. I love riding, and I love riding even more with safety and confidence. When I found my first training course (thank you Utah RiderEd) - it changed my riding life forever - and I want to share that kind of experience with anyone and everyone who might like to try two wheels and or learn more about their riding and this way of life.
I've been riding for the better part of my life, and am happiest when I'm on 2 wheels. I am thrilled to be able to help pass along my love and passion for these amazing machines.
I moved to Utah for my great passion of the outdoors and the want to explore. The affection I have towards riding is something that has been with me my whole life. I love to help those who feel the same way toward riding learn and aid them to be better themselves. I'm thankful to have an influence where I can watch those who want to learn to ride safely succeed in a great life goal.
I’ve been around motorcycles for as long as I can remember. I started coaching to share my experiences and make myself a better rider.
I have always loved anything with tires and an engine. If it makes vroom vroom noises, I'm hooked. I also love teaching and sharing my passions with others. I decided after my BRC course to become a coach because I wanted to spread the 2-wheeled gospel to everyone. Coaching has given me the opportunity to help create safer, more conscientious riders who are also willing to be lifelong learners -- all while having a blast on the greatest machines ever created.
After many adventures, both long and short, I developed a desire to help others learn to ride safely. Doesn't matter what it is, cruiser, sport bike, dual sport, Supermoto, or Grom, let's go ride!
When I was 10 my dad drew scooters for me for fun. When I was 21 I went to Rome, saw a Vespa and was hooked. When I was 23 I suffered a stroke and they took my license away. 4 months later, I finally jumped on two wheels and never looked back. DON'T WAIT!
I have been riding almost 10 years, and so far it has proven to be the best kind of therapy for me. Riding gives me a joy I cant find other places, and coaching is a way for me to help share that passions with others.
Two wheeled sport has been a lifelong passion of mine. From riding as a kid, working at a motorcycle shop in college and riding on the job in my career. I have been instructing for many years and I enjoy sharing my experience and knowledge with others as well as watching their skill and passion grow.
When I took my first course, the positive learning environment gave me incredible joy. I love sharing this joy with other cool humans.
